    "summary": "IO: Consensus Initiative",
    "rationale": "I vote **YES** on the **IO: Consensus Initiative**.\n\nI believe it is important to understand what Leios represents for Cardano. Leios is not adoption by itself; it is the highway that makes higher adoption possible. We still need to fill those blocks with real demand, applications, users, DeFi activity, and meaningful economic throughput. But without the highway, Cardano risks being structurally unprepared for the level of activity it wants to reach.\n\nI also understand why the nominal ADA amount may feel uncomfortable. It is close to the ADA amount requested for related work in the previous cycle, while market conditions are different and the Treasury impact feels more visible. However, the scope is also different: this proposal moves Leios further toward implementation, testing, release readiness, and hard-fork enablement. That is the layer we need if Cardano wants to continue evolving as a serious L1.\n\nAt the same time, my support is not unconditional. Leios will have real operational consequences. Higher throughput can mean greater storage, infrastructure, and machine requirements for SPOs. Storage is already expensive, and it does not look like this pressure will disappear soon. The proposal must therefore be held accountable not only for throughput gains, but also for clear analysis of SPO impact, realistic parameter choices, and mitigation strategies that preserve decentralization.\n\nFor me, the question is simple: do we remain constrained by today’s limits, or do we keep advancing while managing the risks responsibly?\n\nWith milestone-based funding, transparent reporting, independent oversight, and serious attention to SPO costs and decentralization, I believe this is a necessary step forward.\n\nFor these reasons, I vote **YES**.",
