## Thesis

Updates include:
1. Step 0 - Discussion added to clarify proposal creation process.
2. Clarity improvements to temperature check language.
3. “Voting Off-Chain” renamed to “Offchain Voting”. Language clarified.
4. 48 hour minimum for offchain voting -> 72 hour minimum for offchain voting.
5. Clarification of Abstain votes (not included in quorum or approval threshold).
6. Emergency process update.
7. Multisig emergency action quorum from 4 signers -> 80% of signers.
8. Updates to language and phrasing throughout document.
9. Out of date sentences and language removed throughout document.

## Motivation

To clarify the governance process and to avoid misunderstandings.

## Risks

The governance process has worked so far. Frequent changes increase the risk that something could go wrong.

## Timeline

Effective upon this proposal’s Snapshot approval.
