# PIP-15: Revise Snapshot Authors and Admins

## Background

This proposal aims to increase Panther's degree of decentralization by updating the current authors and administrators with the ability to publish proposals in [Panther Protocol's space](https://snapshot.org/#/pantherprotocol.eth) on the [Snapshot.org cloud service](http://snapshot.org/) and update settings of [the space](https://snapshot.org/#/pantherprotocol.eth) (further referred to as Snapshot Authors and Snapshot Admins) as was voted in last year, through [PIP-8](https://snapshot.org/#/pantherprotocol.eth/proposal/0xb5d638eb5aad2819c210a2f1e06001a58819694717e8d04ca789304f06520fa1).

## Description

Updating the current whitelisted addresses of Snapshot Authors and Admins increases the community's presence in the protocol's governance as well as increasing the representation of active Panther community members in [Panther Protocol's space](https://snapshot.org/#/pantherprotocol.eth).

If this proposal passes, [Panther Protocol's space](https://snapshot.org/#/pantherprotocol.eth) will have 3 new whitelisted Snapshot Authors and one new Snapshot Admin.

## Section #1: Remove the following Snapshot Authors

This proposal involves removing the right to introduce Panther Improvement Proposals (PIPs) in [Panther's Snapshot.org space](https://snapshot.org/#/pantherprotocol.eth) from the following Snapshot Authors:

## Section #4: Introduce new Snapshot Admin

This proposal involves involves adding the right to update settings of the [Panther's Snapshot.org space](https://snapshot.org/#/pantherprotocol.eth), via the the [Admin multisig wallet](https://app.safe.global/settings/setup?safe=eth:0x3dC498d33c7d533BEAbEC1c37E6bF73B82aA10a6), to the following new Snapshot Admin:

Furthermore, this proposal will update the current Snapshot Admins to:

The permissions for this set of Snapshot Authors and Snapshot Admins are proposed to last for six months, after which the community will revise the list of nominees and vote on their appointment.

Neither Snapshot Admins nor Snapshot Authors hold any privilege in Panther's governance mechanism.

Snapshot Admins must maintain the settings of the [Panther's Snapshot.org space](https://snapshot.org/#/pantherprotocol.eth) in strict accordance with this and future governance proposals.

## Proposed Actions

The following actions are proposed:

1. Update the list of Snapshot Authors as described in the Sections #1 and #2.

2. Update the list of Snapshot Admins as described in the Sections #3 and #4.
