# JBP-76 - Governance Process - Amendment 3

### Summary:

Amend the Juicebox DAO Governance Process to the new process as described [here](https://www.notion.so/Governance-Process-Amendment-3-ebfb9b0d7e8b41c1aa0cd26f8aab48fe).

### Risks:

Crisis response actions can now be taken with approval from 4 of 5 multisig signers, which is a huge risk if Multisig signers act in bad faith.

### **What are the changes being proposed?**

In brief:

- fixed errors and added clarification in “Governance Schedule”
- Removed sentence: “Votes are only locked in at the end of the temp check.”
- Added option for contributors to redact proposal during temperature checks
- added “Step 4 - Reconfiguration Delay” section.
- Proposals in Temperature Check are frozen 24 hours before the end of Temperature Check (on Monday 5pm ET - 22:00 UTC) → Proposals cannot be edited during the last 24 hours of Temperature Check (starting Monday 00:00 UTC).
- Revamped Emergency Governance Processes

To correct errors and to improve the clarity and efficacy of the Juicebox Governance Process.

### **What is the expected impact of these changes?**

More clarity in the governance process—we recently had our first emergency poll and things were quite unclear.
